Election Day: Vote YES on Amendment 3
Tuesday, November 3, 2026
Missouri General Election
Why This Vote Matters
On November 3, Missourians will have the opportunity to vote YES on Amendment 3,
a constitutional amendment designed to protect children, ensure women’s safety in medical care,
and preserve critical health safeguards for families across our state.
A YES vote on Amendment 3 restores balance, clarity, and common-sense protections in Missouri law,
while ensuring access to necessary medical care in emergency situations.
What a YES Vote on Amendment 3 Does
- Protect children from sex change operations, including surgeries, hormones, and puberty-blocking drugs
- Guarantee access to care for medical emergencies, including ectopic pregnancies and miscarriages
- Ensure women’s safety during reproductive healthcare through medical standards and oversight
- Ensure parental consent for minors before life-altering medical decisions are made
Protecting Medical Care — Not Restricting It
Amendment 3 explicitly protects a woman’s ability to receive timely medical care in cases of
medical emergencies, miscarriages, and ectopic pregnancies.
No woman should ever be denied life-saving treatment, and this amendment ensures that care
remains protected under Missouri law.
At the same time, the amendment allows the state to uphold reasonable medical standards
that prioritize patient safety, ethical medical practice, and parental involvement.
Protecting Children
Amendment 3 includes clear protections for minors by prohibiting irreversible medical
interventions intended to transition a child’s “gender.”
These safeguards reflect growing medical concern and prioritize the long-term health
and well-being of children.
